What this site records when you visit, and what it does not keep.
This site counts visits with Umami, an open-source analytics tool, on our own Umami server hosted on Vercel.
What is recorded
- Each page view: the page address and query string, the page title, the referring page, screen size, language.
- Clicks on the main links and copy buttons: the action and the part of the page it is in.
- From the request: browser, operating system, device type, country, region and city.
What is not kept
- No cookies; the tracker writes nothing to your browser.
- Your IP address and browser string are used to work out the above and are not stored. Visits are grouped by a one-way hash.
Analytics data stays until it is deleted by hand.
Turning it off
On this site, in the browser console:

Vercel serves the site and keeps request logs, with IP addresses, for one hour.
GitHub star count
Our server reads it from GitHub's API. Your browser does not contact GitHub for it, and nothing about you is sent.
